The Deep Learning Engineer - Perception and Robot Learning will be responsible for developing, implementing and integrating deep learning algorithms and models to enable perception and learning capabilities in our agricultural robots. The successful candidate will have a very strong background in deep learning, computer vision, and robotics, and will work closely with our robotic engineering and product development team to deploy robust and reliable perception and learning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Thinking, researching, inventing and co-designing intelligent system
  • Develop and implement deep learning algorithms for perception and robot learning applications
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate deep learning algorithms into robotic systems
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for training and testing deep learning models
  • Develop and maintain deep learning models for object detection, segmentation, and classification
  • Analyze and interpret data to improve the accuracy and performance of deep learning models
  • Optimize deep learning models for efficient and reliable performance on resource-constrained robotic platforms
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials to support the deployment of deep learning algorithms on robotic systems

Job requirements

  • Soul player with a “can-do” attitude – Essential criteria!
  • Master's or PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in deep learning, computer vision, and data science
  • Strong background in computer vision and neural networks architectures 
  • Proficient in programming languages, mainly Python, C++, and MATLAB
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in robotics - advantage
  • Experience in startup working mode – advantage
  • Experience in agriculture – advantage
